Laura
Coach et Co-founder
Passionate about education in all its forms, Laura first worked as a specialist educator in different fields, such as disability or child protection. Since her adolescence, Laura has been interested in dog training. She trained in positive and natural methods, was a dog club instructor and, in 2020, she founded "Dog Coach International" in order to share her knowledge more widely. Mowgli, her golden retriever, helps Laura accompany both dogs and humans. He notably worked as a “school dog” at the Neuville school.
Martina
Coach et Co-founder
Always accompanied by Baloo, her faithful beauceron, Martina is passionate about people, dogs and animal welfare. She is specialized in dog education an Animal Assited Therapy (AAT). Her many personal and professional experiences with dogs, cats, sheep, and other farm animals have allowed her to deepen her knowledge in human-animal communication. Martina has obtained a degree in AAT and she offers individual and group sessions at home or in an institution. For over 5 years Martina has been coaching dogs and humans, starting with the choice of dog, followed by the dog training, his/her adaptation to different environments and finaly the dog's socialization.
About Happy Dogs & You
Happy Dogs & You was born from our friendship as well as our shared passion for animal behavior and welfare. We met walking in the forest thanks to our dogs, Mowgli and Baloo. Subsequently, our long walks and work sessions allowed us to debate and share our experiences and observations. This time spent together in the company of our animals reconfirmed the fact that we share the same approach and beliefs when it comes to supporting dogs and their humans. After five years of friendship and professionalization, we were ready to create a common structure and the name “Happy Dogs & You” came naturally because our objective is both simple and ambitious: a healthy and peaceful bond between you and your dog - A happy human and a happy animal!
